Jeep has revealed the standard wheelbase sibling of the Grand Cherokee L that debuted earlier this year. Highlights of the 2022 Grand Cherokee lineup include the first-ever Grand Cherokee 4xe (PHEV), more off-roading capabilities, and of course, more onboard technology. The new Grand Cherokee will arrive at North American dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2021, but the 4xe variant is expected in early 2022 in North America, followed by global markets later that year.
The styling is pretty similar to the Grand Cherokee L; you probably won’t be able to tell the difference until you see the side profile where the L clearly shows its extended length. The three-row Grand Cherokee L boasts a wheelbase of 121.7-inches (309 cm), while the standard-wheelbase model we’re seeing here has a shortage of 5-inches. The overall width, however, remains the same at 84.6-inches (215 cm).
