A video appeared on the YouTube channel AutoTopNL, which captured the extremely fast driving of the Bavarian BMW M8 coupe in tuning from the Manhart studio. Among other things, the car boasts a capacity of 823 hp.
If the standard version of the “charged” BMW M8 coupe is too boring for buyers, tuners from Manhart have developed the Manhart MH800. According to the atelier, they will turn your pedestrian BMW M8 into a “cruise missile. To subject the Manhart MH800 BWM M8 to high-speed testing, Youtuber AutoTopNL took the car to the unlimited speed section of the German Autobahn.”
The BMW M8 is powered by the tried and tested S63 V8 twin turbocharged 4.4 liter engine with 617 horsepower.
The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via BMW’s X-Drive all-wheel drive system. The standard BMW M8 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 305.71 km / h.
Tuning studio Manhart claims their version of the BMW M8 is the fastest execution of a BMW M8 in the world. The driver in the AutoTopNL video accelerates to 310 km / h, which is incredibly impressive for a car on a public road with regular street tires.
The Manhard MH800 kit includes an updated engine with upgraded turbochargers and larger intercoolers. It also re-tuned the ECM and improved brakes and suspension to cope with this extra power. There is also a louder and more efficient exhaust system.
