Renault-owned Alpine has produced a limited edition A110. Called the Légende GT, it was specially designed for the European market and is strictly limited to 300 pieces.
Alpine created the Légende GT by mixing elements of the A110 S and A110 Légende models, but it’s difficult to call it just a modified version. Buyers can choose from two color combinations: Mercury Silver with black leather upholstery and gray contrast stitching and Abyss Blue with amber brown leather. However, the Légende GT gets pale gold exterior accents, 18-inch Grand Prix wheels, gold brake calipers, and version-specific taillights.
Inside, the French firm has focused on everyday use, adding comfy seats from Sabelt and a Focal sound system. Parking sensors on both sides help maneuver the A110, while subtle visual accents (such as copper-colored accents and an aluminum footrest) and a number plate located directly under the center console further differentiate the Légende GT from the other A110s.
While the Légende GT’s equipment list is very similar to the base Légende’s options, its specifications are largely in line with the S version. Under the hood is a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 292 horsepower. Mounted transversely behind the passenger compartment, it rotates the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission connected to a pair of paddle shifters; a manual transmission has never been offered on the modern A110. Alpine notes that the Legende GT takes 4.4 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h and has a top speed of 250 km / h. Oversized brakes and a sports exhaust system are also borrowed from the S model.
Enthusiasts interested in adding the Légende GT to their collection can pre-order via the Alpine app. Prices in France start at 71,600 euros. For comparison, the base price of the A110 is 58,000 euros.
