Shelby American, which is based in Las Vegas not too far from the SEMA Show, came to this year’s edition with an “unrivaled king of the road F-150 and a nightmare for any other truck.”
The result is a supercharged V8 that makes its presence felt from miles away with 770 horsepower—just five less than the almighty Ford Mustang Shelby GT500—and a throbbing Borla exhaust system.
We don’t know exactly how fast this thing is—could it be faster than the Roush Nitemare F-150?—but it has no problem brushing off speed with new six-piston front brakes.
A Shelby-specific suspension lowers the truck and performance tires wrap around custom 22-inch aluminum wheels to give it proper street cred. Styling is also enhanced with a massive front bumper, a redesigned grille and air intakes, a Super Snake hood, black racing stripes and more.
