BMW Reveals the 2021 4-Series Convertible

Same Ugly Look Without the Roof

BMW has a new 4-Series drop-top. The car looks similar to the new M4 that recently debuted. The convertible version of the car will offer some notable updates over the outgoing model. The car now has a soft-top instead of a hardtop, which was done to dramatically reduce weight.

According to Carscoops, the new 4-Series Convertible’s new roof not only reduces weight but it also provides an increase to the cargo space, a boon for any convertible car. The soft-top features flush-fitting glass rear window, multiple layers of insulation for climate control and sound deadening, and a fabric cover. It can be had in the regular black color or what BMW is calling Moonlight black. Moonlight black has a subtle metallic shimmer to it.

The new top can be opened or closed in just 18 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph. Cargo space for the car went up by 1.2 cubic feet and totals nine cubic feet.
