Brabus presents 789-horsepower Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S crossover

The 789-horsepower version of the German crossover Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S from the Brabus tuning studio is sold at an attractive price of 365 thousand dollars. The renowned tuner has made a number of significant changes to the dynamic crossover, which is called the Brabus 800.

The German tuning studio installed modified turbochargers and re-tuned the premium crossover’s engine, which allowed the latter to develop a total of 800 hp. power and 1000 Nm. Additional 188 hp (150 Nm), which was derived from the standard 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, reduced the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h from 3.8 to 3.4 seconds. The upgraded GLE 63 S can accelerate to 280 km / h.

A stainless steel sports exhaust system has been installed, which improves the sound produced by the engine or makes it quieter so as not to disturb neighbors – depending on what the driver chooses.

The air suspension has been retuned by Brabus and now its ground clearance is reduced by 25 mm, while the crossover is equipped with Monoblock Z Platinum Edition rims measuring 10 × 24 inches, “shod” in tires measuring 295/30. The tuner also offers other wheel options for the GLE in diameters from 21 to 24 inches.

The exterior received carbon fiber elements – a wheel arch, a front spoiler lip, side air intakes in the bumper, a modified false radiator grille, a rear diffuser insert and a roof spoiler. The black body of the crossover is contrasted with a few red accents.

Much of the cabin has been re-trimmed with fine leather upholstery combined with carbon fiber and metallic accents.

This redesigned AMG GLE 63 S is for sale by Brabus in Germany at a price of € 299,005.35. For comparison: the base price of the regular GLE 63 S for the German market is 138,646.90 euros
