Station wagons are becoming a rare commodity, but in Carol’s case the best replacement for her 2013 Mazda6 wagon is… a new Mazda6 wagon!

Carol called and spoke to James on 3AW:
I have a 2013 Mazda 6 wagon and I really like it. I just wondered if they still had wagons with the modern Mazda 6.
We’ve got a really easy solution for you Carol. You can still get the Mazda 6 as a wagon.
I drove one a couple of months ago (review running next week) as they’ve just done a mild update on them.
It’s still a really sharp-looking car that gets better with every passing generation, and yet another wagon we see in the market that doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
However, 2022 brings good news for wagon fans as we will see the new Genesis G70 Shooting Brake and the refreshed Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake too, alongside more mainstream models like the Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Passat.
Have a question about your next set of wheels, or just need some car advice? No query is too big, small or obscure!
