The competitor of the Korean KIA Carnival now boasts not only a more budgetary price tag, but also a rich equipment of basic versions.
GAC Motor presented in the home market the restyled GAC M6 minivan, which now wears the “Pro” prefix. The novelty differs from the pre-reform car with a redesigned appearance, an improved set of security systems and advanced optics in inexpensive versions.
So, the GAC M6 Pro gets a grown grille, which now looks more like a rectangle. Previously, it had the shape of a trapezoid. And in the exterior of the novelty there are more chrome parts. The food of the minivan has changed less noticeably, but the interior, on the contrary, has been radically redesigned.
Improved finishing materials, a new center console, a larger multimedia touchscreen, etc. The M6 Pro interior is designed for seven seats. In the second row, as before, there is a pair of separate “captain” seats.
Already in the basic version, the updated minivan receives matrix optics on LEDs. Previously, such lighting technology was offered for a surcharge as one of the options. And also the minivan has become advanced in terms of safety. In the “older” trim levels, modern driver’s assistants have appeared, making driving a car more comfortable and safe. These are, for example, the lane keeping system, adaptive cruise control and much more.
On the technical side, there were no changes. After the upgrade, the minivan is equipped with the former 169-horsepower gasoline turbo engine of one and a half liters, combined with a seven-speed “robot” and a front-wheel drive system.

Previously, AutoTimesNews said that the former Ferrari presented a cross-coupe for the Chinese startup Aiways. This electric car will be named Aiways U6. The start of its production is scheduled for 2022.
