Another SUV that debuted at the 2021 Auto Shanghai last month and we missed reporting is the Geely Xingyue L. The CMA platform-based mid-size crossover is Geely’s first product to go beyond L2 autonomy.

The Xingyue L is indeed a handsome-looking crossover with German-ish looks, so much so that you could cover the badges and convince someone that it is an Audi or a Seat. According to Geely, the crossover has been designed with a concept/idea called “Symphony of Space and Time”, which is an evolved version of the brand’s Expanding Cosmos design philosophy. Geely describes the design as “a symphony of Eastern and Western styling”. Each LED headlight unit comprises 126 individually controllable LEDs, enabling brightness and even lighting effects to be customized.
