BMW recently unveiled the XM crossover which has made headlines for a lot of reasons. The XM is currently, the most powerful road-going car from the mental M division. But its design language is not sitting well among fanatics. It is quite polarizing and looks like an origami car! But then again, BMW has garnered a controversial image when it comes to its new design language.
It all started with the beaver-faced BMW M3 and M4 models. But keeping the design aside, for now, the powertrain layout and technology features are very impressive and show us a sporty side of “hybrids“.
But BMW has reserved a more meaty XM for next year with the Label Red. The sportier XM will be the equivalent of the Competition models among BMW M cars and will pack 738 hp with clever upgrades to the gasoline as well as the electric motor.
