Infiniti QX60 Monograph previews a next-gen 3-row SUV

Infiniti is showcasing the QX60 Monograph — a concept that previews the next-generation QX60 that is expected to make its debut in 2021. While that happens, we just have the exterior to take a look.

Speaking of which, the Monograph is finished in a reflective platinum hue with a contrasting black roof. The pillars are also in gloss black creating a floating roof effect with a chrome line that traces the A-pillar and the roofline. The mesh pattern on the front grille was apparently inspired by the traditional Japanese origami; the same pattern can be found on the side intakes of the front bumper. The side profile looks very clean with the flush-fitting door handles, and at the rear, the taillight signature mimics that of the front running lights.

The roof features a “kimono fold” pattern that draws inspiration from the folds of a silk kimono and the structures of Japan’s modern architecture.
