Tuning studio MegaRexx has unveiled a heavily redesigned version of the full-size Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup truck. The novelty, which received the name MegaRaptor, as its creators assure, “is ready to overcome almost any off-road obstacles.”

North Carolina-based MegaRexx has a question: “Do you like the aggressive looks and off-road performance of a powerful Ford Raptor, but do you need more diesel power?” If so, then this tuner has something to offer these buyers. Called the MegaRaptor, the massive truck is based on the F-250 Super Duty in the TOP Platinum trim and has received many improvements for off-road driving.

There are quite a few fiberglass parts used for the front and rear of the car, in particular for the large fender flares to cram those massive tires.

The overall width of the vehicle has increased by 45.72 cm. The MegaRexx has also extended the front axle by 3.81 cm.

The MegaRaptor is fitted with gigantic 46-inch Michelin XZL tires (395/85 R20) mounted on Mine Resistant Alloy Wheels (MRAP), which means the wheels can handle the car’s heavy weight without any problems. The F-250 Super Duty also received a suspension lift as well as Bilstein shocks.

MegaRexx has installed electrically deployable footpegs. The list of additional options continues with an integrated air compressor and additional LED lights, which is to be expected from the off-road version of the pickup. The cargo platform has not been modified.

The F-250 Super Duty turbo diesel engine also remains untouched – the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 still develops 475 horsepower (1,424 Nm). The interior has been completely carried over from the regular Ford F-250 Super Duty Platinum.

Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote about drag racing, in which Hennessey VelociRaptor 700 and stock Ford F-250 participated. On its YouTube channel, Texas-based tuning firm Hennessey Performance has posted a video showing the race between a stock full-size Ford F-250 pickup truck and its heavily redesigned Hennessey VelociRaptor 700.
