Photos of the high-performance Mercedes-AMG E63 S sedan have been posted online with a set of Barracuda Ultralight Series 2.0 wheels measuring 21 × 9 inches at the front and 21 × 10.50 inches at the rear.
In the olden days, the BMW M5 was the obvious choice if you wanted to buy a luxury sports sedan, but in recent years the Mercedes-AMG E63 has established itself as a more exciting Beemer alternative.
The current-generation Mercedes-AMG E63 has been on sale since 2016, and while an updated version of this “charged” sedan was unveiled last year, no significant changes have been made to its powerplant. Thus, the car is still equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging, producing 563 hp. power and 750 Nm of torque in the standard E63 and 603 hp. (850 Nm) in the more powerful version of the E63 S.
The E-Class shown here is a more powerful variant of the E63 S and stands out from its peers thanks to a set of Barracuda Ultralight Series 2.0 rims measuring 21 × 9 inches at the front and 21 × 10.50 inches at the rear.
These rims were manufactured using a flow molding process and wrapped in 265/30 and 295/25 tires at the front and rear, respectively. There is no information on whether this E63 S has undergone any other modifications, but it does sits noticeably lower to the ground than the standard model, assuming it has a set of lowering springs.
