Last fall Mercedes released the first details about the Vision EQXX. Since then, the company has said little about the model, but today the situation is changing as the automaker released a new teaser for the mysterious electric car.

Mercedes hasn’t said much about the car, but it has an aggressive front fascia that faintly resembles Project One, as well as the Vision EQ Silver Arrow concept. The novelty has thin headlights connected by an inconspicuous strip of light. The concept also features a wide lower air intake and a ventilated bonnet with a large star logo.

The model is distinguished by a curvaceous body shape and convex fenders. Previous teasers also featured a steep roof and distinctive taillights.

Mercedes remains silent, but the company has previously described the Vision EQXX as “the next exciting step in EV development” as the model will get “impressive” range and efficiency. Talking about the latter, officials suggested that the car could travel about 1207 km.

This is impressive, but it is only part of the story as the Vision EQXX was developed with assistance from the High Performance Powertrain group, which is heavily focused on developing technology and drivetrains for Formula 1. This suggests that the model will have a lot of power and stamina.

While Mercedes is behaving modestly. The brand has hinted that the Vision EQXX may debut on July 22 during their EV strategy update. Previous reports suggested the automaker would use this session to announce plans to phase out ICE models by the end of the decade.
