Mercedes X-Class six-wheeled pickup truck is on sale online

Atelier Carlex Design has unveiled a six-wheeled version of the Mercedes X-Class premium truck. The car received a changed appearance – it became more “muscular” and brutal.

Production of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class ends in May, but tuners are still showing that something really wild can be made out of a premium German pickup. As an example, consider this six-wheeled truck that was recently sold in the Netherlands.

There is a special subframe to accommodate the additional axle. There is also a 10 cm suspension lift. The extra height allows for new wheels with larger off-road tires.

The one-off, six-wheeled X-Class in 2020 certainly has a striking effect on the road. The body is finished in a brown metallic color.

There are chrome bumpers on the front and rear, and huge matte black fenders on the sides. A tubular girder designed by Carlex Design runs along the sides of the loading platform and above the roof. Inside the cargo compartment there is a diamond-patterned steel. A 6 Wheeler decal adorns the tailgate.

The interior remains largely stock. There are black leather seats and silver trim. The six-wheeled vehicle emblem appears on the passenger side of the dashboard.

Under the hood of this X350d remains a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel that develops 255 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. It works with a seven-speed “automatic”.

Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the Mercedes-Benz EQT electric minivans will go on sale in 2021. The German automaker has revealed what the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQT minivan will look like. Its market debut is scheduled for next year.
