Mitsuoka unveils nostalgic special-edition Viewt based on Nissan March


Japanese Mitsuoka Motors has introduced a special version of the Viewt sedan and the Viewt Nadeshiko hatchback, which is called Nostalgia. It will be on sale for a limited period of time – until December 23, 2021.

The current generation of the Mitsuoka Viewt model is produced by converting the subcompact hatchback Nissan March / Nissan Micra generation K13, production of which started 11 years ago, in 2010. True, the Viewt retro car has a number of differences, including the original design of the front and rear parts in retro style, referring to the British Jaguar Mark 2 of the 1960s. The special Nostalgia Viewt features white painted rims and special logos on the top of the radiator grille, usually the model name, but now the trim name.

The interior is replete with badges and Nostalgia embroidery on the seats. The trim is carried out in a specially selected nostalgic color scheme to match the body. The cars are available in two shades: Stylish Blue and Desert Khaki.

The original Mitsuoka Viewt has been in production since 1993. The current generation debuted 9 years ago. There are no significant technical differences from the Nissan March: under the hood is the already familiar 1.2-liter gasoline engine, paired with a variator. The drive can be front or full.
