When BMW unveiled the i4 in March, it announced the development of an M Performance version. At the end of May, an alleged image of the new i4 M50 has already surfaced on social media.
As noted by BMW Blog, the image showed a sportier electric vehicle with a darkened radiator grille and M badge. The car also received a more aggressive front bumper with modified air intakes.
The photo clearly shows the aerodynamic mirrors and unique air vents on the front fenders. The model also features two-tone wheels and Shadowline trim.
BMW says little about the car, but the automaker has previously confirmed that the i4 will be offered in various configurations with up to 523bhp. Presumably this is the M Performance variant. The concern said that the model will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in about 4 seconds.
It remains unclear whether impressive performance will affect the car’s range. At the same time, the i4 will be able to travel up to 590 km on the WLTP cycle. But BMW hasn’t said which specific version can go that far.
It is now known exactly how the electric M. will sound. The brand gave the sound to listen to earlier this month. The acoustics of BMW were patted by the composer Hans Zimmer. He offered a higher level of power and acceleration. It also seemed to have its own version of the gear shift.
The BMW i4 M50 will be unveiled on June 1st, so stay tuned for more details.
