The new Citroën C3 of the day of the Indian car market has been unveiled thanks to a toy copy of the novelty.
The new generation Citroën C3 has been developed with the interests of buyers in emerging markets in mind. It is already known how the new crossover will look: its appearance is demonstrated by a miniature copy of an SUV.
The main thing here is not to get confused: there is a Citroën C3 hatchback for Europe and a crossover for India and other emerging markets. So, the Indian Citroën C3 bears little resemblance to the model offered to Europeans.
The design of the novelty with the factory index C21 is no longer a secret: the appearance of the compact crossover was shown by its toy copy. Before that, we could only judge about the new SUV by spy shots of camouflaged test cars.
As expected, the Citroën C3 borrows a lot from its big brother, the Citroën C3 Aircross.
The SUV got roof rails, a protective plastic body kit around the perimeter of the body, a spoiler and a bright orange decor. Moreover, the roof of the crossover and the housings of the side mirrors are painted in the same juicy shade. The bumpers are decorated with silver inserts. The LED optics received an original design, like the wheels.
The length of the novelty is about four meters, and it is based on the CMP platform. The salon will be decorated simply, but functional – this will be the necessary minimum, given the budget price tag of the novelty. In the market, the SUV will have to fight for the sympathy of buyers with Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. The cars will be driven by gasoline engines.
