New MG6 XPower looks like an open road race car

Last year, the MG6 got a sporty look. The company is now completing it with a new limited edition XPower.

The MG6 XPower is marketed as the brand’s first official factory modified model to feature “unrivaled racing aesthetics.”

The automaker did not go into details, but the MG6 XPower features an aggressive front fascia with redesigned air intakes. There is a front splitter and a unique grille with vertical stripes. At the rear, the model was equipped with a wider track and widened wheel arches.

The designers also endowed the car with aerodynamic sills, a massive rear diffuser and a sports exhaust system with four tailpipes. Rounding out the highlights are black accents, green brake calipers and a large rear wing.

The interior continues the sporty style with green seat belts and reinforced sports seats with XPower embroidery. The steering wheel is covered in leather and microfiber. The interior features green contrasting stitching and Limited Edition door sill guards. Other subtleties include microfiber trim and an infotainment system with gauge-like displays.

There is no information about what drives the car. But MG said the car was going to be a “beast”. Many questions remain. At the same time, the company said that additional information will appear in the near future.
