Restyled Hyundai Palisade reveals new details in spy photo

The South Korean automaker continues to work on updating its Hyundai Palisade SUV. It will be a facelift, not a generational change. However, the exterior of the SUV will seriously change.

We are already familiar with the exterior of the updated Hyundai Palisade thanks to recent renders. Now the portal TheCoreanCarBlog publishes a new spy photo of a camouflaged SUV. In the picture, we see the new front pointers. In general, the novelty can try on multi-section headlights integrated into a single unit with the radiator grille, as on the new Tucson.

Recall that the current Palisade (codenamed OL) receives a pair of 3.5 and 3.8 liter gasoline engines with a capacity of 277 and 295 hp. It is also available with a 2.2 R-Engine diesel engine delivering 200 hp. As for the restyling carried out, its degree is still difficult to predict – camouflage interferes.

However, many experts expect the SUV’s design to change dramatically in the spirit of the brand’s latest car innovations. Koreans can also take advantage of this update and include a hybrid or plug-in hybrid variant in the powertrain list, as they did with the Santa Fe.

The Hyundai Palisade update will get the advanced safety assistants, advanced multimedia and the latest technology we’ve seen on the GV80 or Grandeur.

The powertrain could be improved by the addition of the 2.5 Turbo, which develops almost the same power as the 3.8-liter power unit, but is more economical. The premiere of the novelty is scheduled for next year.
