Skoda has updated the Kodiaq crossover for the Chinese car market

The main innovations were an expanded list of options, as well as the appearance of a coupe-like version with the GT index.

The Czech company Skoda presented the updated Kodiaq crossover. This modification will be different from the global version and is intended for China. There were no changes in the exterior – the whole emphasis was placed on the appearance of richer equipment.

In the starting configuration, the updated cross boasts a 9.2-inch multimedia system and a touchscreen. In this case, the user will be able to control the voice.

Starting with the second configuration, you can count on a virtual instrument panel with a screen diagonal of 10.25 inches. Leather was used for the upholstery of the seats, and a separate sensor module is now responsible for controlling the climate control. Note that a seven-seater version will also be available to buyers.

In addition to the classic version, after the update, the Kodiaq GT will also be on sale – this is a coupe-like car that will appear exclusively in China.

It features a digital instrument cluster as well as a black painted roof, mirrors and tailgate lettering. In technical terms, they decided not to change the car – you can choose from two turbo engines with a volume of 2.0 liters. The first has a power of 186 hp, and the second is boosted to 220 hp. The second is combined with an all-wheel drive system. A robotic transmission will be offered as a transmission on an uncontested basis.

Car sales from dealers have already started. The starting equipment will have to part with the amount of 177,900 yuan, and the GT version is priced at least 191,900 yuan.
