Small crossover Genesis GV60 spotted again in tests

It’s no secret that the Genesis lineup will expand with the latest updates that photo spies have shown in previous months. Electrification is part of this expansion.

The new electric model tentatively named the GV60 was spotted again in tests. As a result, a new portion of photos with the participation of a small crossover got to the Network.

The GV60 prototype is still heavily riddled with camouflage and fake panels, so it is difficult to predict what the brand new model will look like. The GV60 will have a dual-screen setup that connects the infotainment system and instrument cluster.

Details are scarce at the moment, but it can already be concluded that the GV60 should work on the Hyundai Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture for battery electric vehicles. This is the same platform for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

With that said, expect about 482 kilometers of range through the European WLTP. The GV60 will be as fast as the EV6 GT, which can accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.52 seconds. It can also use the solar roof of the electric G80, but don’t hold your breath for that yet.

The launch date for the GV60 is currently undefined. Recent rumors indicate that it will take place this month. Whether this will continue in the coming weeks remains to be seen.
