German tuners have thoroughly worked on the flagship model, presenting a devilishly beautiful and very dynamic car.
The Mercedes S-Class is at the top of the brand’s lineup. It was he who got into the Brabus workshops, turning into the Brabus 500 project. The main innovation is the tuning of the Brabus six-cylinder S500 gasoline engine using the Plug-and-Play B50 – 500 PowerXtra module. This increases its power output to 493 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque.
With the new engine, the flagship model will accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 4.7 seconds. The diesel S400d has also received an upgrade with the Brabus PowerXtra D40 performance kit. As a result, its output was increased to 365 hp. and 750 Nm of torque.
German tuners were not limited to one modernization of motors. OEM-quality aerodynamic enhancement kits have been created for the flagship. These include a front spoiler, redesigned side air intakes, LED side markers, redesigned rear fascia and black chrome tailpipe trim.
And the tuners are preparing a carbon fiber rear spoiler for the Mercedes S-Class. The brutal image of the car is complemented by forged alloy wheels Brabus Monoblock M Platinum Edition with a diameter of 21 inches.
It completes the devilish black on black theme, contrasting with the two-tone black and white Brabus theme in the interior. Such an upgrade is not cheap: the minimum price starts at € 293,000
Meanwhile, it became known that Mercedes will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Maybach with a luxury sedan with a V12 engine. The Germans are not going to give up the 12-cylinder engine yet.
