The Jaguar XE, conceived as the British brand’s contender for the segment dominated by the BMW 3-Series, has been around 5 years now, going through the usual evolutionary updates. It has done well as a compact executive sedan, contributing much-need volume to Jaguar’s business.
For 2020, it continues with updates largely related to cosmetic changes. The exterior design has been enhanced with sporty graphical elements such as the aircraft winglet-inspired sculpted surfaces, dark mesh detailing to the rear valance and also a new design for the 18-inch wheels.
It also appears wider and lower than before, with larger front apertures, bold graphics and muscular forms alluding to the car’s performance and advanced aerodynamics.
The new all-LED headlights, with striking ‘J’ blade daytime running lights, create a more purposeful look for the car while providing a ‘signature’. The rear of the car also features a new bumper design and slender all-LED taillights with updated signature graphics accentuating the visual width of the car.
