The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class debuted last week. That car featured two powertrains, including a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The latter of which is the one to get if you want to go fast. But that’s not the final word for the S-Class. There’s still the AMG variants.
The company is working on a hotter version of the car. There will be an S63e and an S73e. According to Carscoops, these cars will get a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 tuned connected to a mild hybrid system.
